Finance

Stewardship

There are a number of Gospel passages in which Jesus reminds us of the importance of being good stewards of the things that have been entrusted to us.

This is as true of Diocesan finances as it is of any other things we look after in trust, such as our buildings, our heritage, etc.

The diocese wishes to be transparent in its stewardship, in line with synodality, and therefore every quarterly report from the Finance Manager to the Diocesan Finance Board and annual Return to OSCR, the Scottish charities regulator, is published on the diocesan website, see below.

In order to best steward our finances we have in the Diocesan Office a Finance Manager, Mrs Jake McInnes, assisted by Katie Dunn, the diocesan Office Administrator.  Mrs McInnes is there to assist the Bishop, the Diocesan Finance Board and each individual parish priest with all aspects of finance, such as fundraising, banking, Gift Aid, etc. She is also responsible for preparing and submitting the annual financial report to the Charity Commission, which can be found below.

Mrs McInnes can be contacted by e-mail: financemanager@rcdai.org.uk
