Pathways for the Implementation Phase of the Synod

Regarding developing synodality within Argyll and the Isles we have formed a Diocesan Synodal Team from the Led by the Spirit Working Group. A Diocesan Pastoral Council will be established by the end of this year and its draft constitution will be discussed by the forthcoming Council of Priests.

Names have been proposed for the four Diocesan Commissions for (i) Universal Call to Holliness (ii) Mission (iii) Catechesis (iv) Support of laity and clergy in their vocations.

Priests and deacons who would like to be involved in any of the four Commissions should let me know soon. Please do consider this, there is room for everyone.

The Commissions will be a support to parishes and the wider diocese in each of the areas we discerned through Led by the Spirit.
