Young hearts enter into Lent

Young people from across Scotland gathered recently for Faith & Fun retreats at Craig Lodge. Fr Kieran Fletcher (Hallam Diocese) led the young teens’ weekend and Fr Martin Delaney (Motherwell Diocese the mid teens.

There were plenty of opportunities for both prayer and fun with a mix of: talks, discussion groups, Way of the Cross hill climb, Mass and healing service. The weekends offer young people a chance to encounter the love of Jesus in the Sacraments and in one another. As one boy said after Adoration, “Jesus looked at me and told me that he loved me”.
