World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests

Friday is the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests. Saint Pope John Paul II established the Day of Prayer in 2002 to help priests reflect on the importance and dignity of their vocation. I thank our priests for having offered their lives in service of God and our people in the Diocese of Argyll and the Isles. I invite you to pray for our priests. Please participate in one of our online masses throughout the diocese this Friday and/or in the Holy Hour I will lead at 6.30 pm.
