Message from Bishop Brian about the Day of Prayer for Abuse Victims
Tomorrow, Friday 8th March is our Day of Prayer for Victims of Abuse. Pope Francis has requested that each country allocates a specific day to pray for abuse victims. The Scottish bishops have designated that will do this on the Friday after Ash Wednesday. Tomorrow every parish in our diocese will offer up prayers for the victims of abuse. Please come and join your parish at the advertised time, but if you cannot then please pray at home. I will celebrate the 10 am Mass and lead a Holy Hour at 7 pm in St Columba’s Cathedral.
