St. Kieran’s Campbeltown Bi-Centenary
The parish of Saint Kieran’s, Campbeltown, celebrated its 200th anniversary with an Anniversary Mass on 16th September 2016. Bishop Brian McGee, principal celebrant, was joined by other priests from the diocese including Fr. David Connor who had served the parish from Lochgilphead, and recently appointed parish priest Fr. Tony Wood.
Also present were representatives from other churches and the wider community. After the Mass over 150 people gathered in the Town Hall for food and drink in fellowship. St. Kieran’s has begun its 200th year with a new resident priest and hope for the future.
