The Coast-to-Coast Rosary is a lay-inspired initiative, which is calling Catholics and all people of good will to join together in this act of prayer for the nations. Sunday, April 29th, everyone is invited to Pilgrimage to the Coast, for Rosary on the Coast at 3pm. The focus will be praying for the spiritual well-being of our nations.
Bishop Brian welcome this lay-inspired initiative and says “The Good News of God’s love literally came to our diocese via the coast. One and a half thousand years ago our forefathers were blessed with the arrival of Irish missionaries spreading the joy of the Gospel. Christianity brought people hope and transformed society for the better. Iona is but one example of how once coastal communities embraced the Gospel values, they not only benefited themselves but they shared its riches with others. Today we need to rediscover a personal relationship with Christ. I highly commend that throughout our coastal diocese we gather as parishes or groups or as families at beaches, hills, and churches on April 29th at 3pm to pray the Rosary and reflect on the treasures which God offers us”
