Rosary and Novena to St Columba

Pope Francis before the statue of Mary
This Sunday, 30th May, the Rosary is being offered in many dioceses throughout the country. Pope Francis has asked that we pray the Rosary every day during May for the end of the pandemic. Argyll and the Isles are asked to pray the Rosary at 5 pm. Please pray the Rosary together in your homes at 5 pm but if you are alone, or you cannot manage 5 pm you may wish to pray with Bishop Brian on the recording via the diocesan website.
From Monday 31st May to Tuesday 8th June Fr Ross Crichton will lead the new Novena to St Columba in Gaelic and daily recordings can be found on beingcatholic.org Meanwhile Bishop Brian will lead the Novena in English live each evening at 6 pm through the diocesan website (except Monday 31stwhen it will be available as a recording). Praying the Novena will help us honour St Columba and seek his protection, especially during this anniversary Year.
