Rest in Peace Fr. Angus McLaughlin OP

Dear brothers and sisters,

I regret to inform you that Fr Angus McLaughlin OP died yesterday at the age of 91. May he rest in peace. Fr Angus was a Dominican priest who offered to help out in Argyll and the Isles for 6 months but ended up staying for 16 years! He ministered in Our Lady of the Angels Parish, Mingarry which also includes St Agnes’, Glenuig. I express the gratitude of our diocese, especially Mingarry parish, to Fr Angus for his years of pastoral service among us and to the Dominicans for releasing him. Let us keep Fr Angus, his family and friends as well as his fellow Dominicans in our prayers.
