Publication of Independent Audits

The Catholic Church is the first organization in Scotland to allow an independent review of its Safeguarding procedures. This exercise was led by the Independent Review Group, established by the Scottish Bishops, to ensure that the McLellan Commission is fully implemented. Two dioceses – St Andrew’s and Edinburgh and Galloway – were recently audited and the reports and other related documents can be found on the BCOS website:  Aberdeen and Motherwell will be audited next.
