Stand Up To Racism March and Rally- Saturday 19 March
Join Justice and Peace at the Stand Up To Racism – Refugees Welcome Here – March and Rally. Assemble 11am, George Square, Glasgow, march at 11.30am, followed by a rally in George Square. Join this Europe-wide UN Anti-Racism Day Demonstration when tens of thousands will march across Britain, with major mobilisations in London, Scotland and Wales joining thousands in cities across Europe and around the world to say no to racism. #M19Scot  Full details here

Earth Hour 2016 – Saturday 19 March
WWF’s Earth Hour is an annual global celebration where people switch off their lights for one hour to show they care about the future of our planet.  This year’s celebrations will be on Saturday 19 March from 8.30pm to 9.30pm. To take part, all you need to do is sign up and switch off your lights for that one hour.  It’s a symbolic and spectacular lights out display with a big message – we want to protect the future of our planet! Email Scotland’s party leaders about climate change ahead of the election
2016 is election year here in Scotland. Ahead of Scottish Parliamentary election in May 2016, Stop Climate Chaos Scotland would like you to tell Scotland’s parties what matters to you. Scotland has some of the most ambitious climate laws in the world. But this ambition must be turned into action.  By writing to Scotland’s political parties we can show just how much support there is for urgent climate action from the next Scottish Government.
