Feast of St Columba, 9th June

Happy Feast Day! This Tuesday we celebrate the Feast of St Columba, Patron of our diocese. After Columba left his native Ireland he established his monastery on the Isle of Iona which quickly became a renowned centre of prayer, study and missionary activity. Let us ask St Columba to intercede on behalf of his spiritual children throughout Argyll and the Isles. I invite you to participate in one of the many online Masses being offered and to join me at 6.30 pm for a Holy Hour for our Diocese.
