Congratulations to Michael Taylor

Congratulations to Michael Taylor on being honoured by Pope Francis with the Benemerenti Medal. Michael has been a parishioner on the Isle of Skye for over forty years and despite many challenges, he was instrumental in growing the Catholic community on Skye. During yesterday’s Mass, we listened to two of Jesus’ parables about the Kingdom of God – it begins small but its fruition is certain. Bishop Brian thanked Michael and all the parishioners and priests who, through God’s Grace, were involved in growing the Kingdom on Skye and encouraged them to increase their missionary efforts at spreading the Good News.
