Congratulations to Iona’s Catholic House of Prayer

Congratulations to Iona’s Catholic House of Prayer which has been welcoming and providing accommodation to pilgrims for the past 25 years. The opening of its Oratory in 1997 enabled regular celebration of Mass and the reservation of the Blessed Sacrament for the first time on Iona since the Reformation. To mark the Silver Jubilee a Mass of Thanksgiving was celebrated in the Abbey which attended by both parishioners as well as friends from other Christian denominations and was followed by a reception in the Village Hall.
