Clergy changes

 

Mgr. Thomas Wynne, the parish priest at St. Margaret’s, Roy Bridge, will be celebrating sixty years of priesthood in June. He will then be retiring then from active ministry. Mgr. Tom will be succeeded by Fr Danny Convery, who is currently Administrator of St Mary’s, Benbecula.

 

At the end of January Fr Danny will be moving to support Mgr. Wynne in Roy Bridge during his final months as parish priest. Bishop Brian will look after St Mary’s, Benbecula from the end of January until June, when Fr Philip Massawe, a Spiritan Father, will take care of the parish until a permanent appointment is made in September.
