Clergy Assembly and St Thérèse 

Tomorrow we welcome the relics of St Thérèse of Lisieux to our Cathedral. St Thérèse had a great love of priests and always sought to support them. Every September our priests come to Oban for three days of prayer, study and relaxing in each other’s company. In a diocese like ours where many priests live in remote areas this time of support is especially beneficial. It is appropriate that this year we changed the date of the Assembly to coincide with the visit of St Thérèse. We may be small but we are the only diocese in Scotland where all the priests will be together for the relics Visit. Like Thérèse please pray for your priests every day.
