Canon MacQueen celebrates 65 years of priesthood

Congratulations and good wishes to Canon Angus John MacQueen, Barra, who celebrated the 65th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood on Friday 22 July 2016

Due to old age and failing health, Canon Angus is now resident in St Brendan’s Home, Castlebay, where he is happy, settled and well cared for. As we recognise and acknowledge his very many active years of service as a priest, we now keep him in our prayers that this new phase of his life will be blessed with contentment and peace.
