Gifts and Donations
R C Diocese of Argyll & the Isles
As a Scottish Registered Charity (No. SC002876), the Diocese is always extremely grateful for any gifts and donations, which it receives from many sources from all over the world, from benefactors who wish to help with our work in serving the people of the West of Scotland.
Should you wish to assist us, please send your donation, made out to this Diocese, to the Diocesan Treasurer at Bishop’s House, Corran Esplanade, Oban PA34 5AB. Every donation will be acknowledged.
Should you be a United Kingdom Tax Payer you may wish to Gift Aid your donation to the Diocese, which will increase the amount donated. With all such donations the Diocese can claim extra funds from HM Revenue & Customs at no extra cost to you. If you wish to do this kindly complete the Gift Aid Declaration and forward it with your donation.
Should you require to complete an Inland Revenue Self Assessment Tax Return you might like to know that you can nominate the Diocese to receive all or a proportion of any Income Tax Rebate which is due to you. Again let the Diocesan Treasurer know if this would apply to you.
Wills and Legacies are another source of valuable income for the Diocese. Please therefore remember the Diocese when considering the beneficiaries under you Will. If you need any help with the correct wording, again please do not hesitate to be in touch with the Diocesan Treasurer.
