Craig Lodge Family House of Prayer
Who We Are
The Family House of Prayer in Dalmally is a retreat centre run by Craig Lodge Community. Members of the Community are committed to a life rooted in prayer, service and evangelization. Some of us, usually aged between 18-30, come and stay at Craig Lodge for a year. We use this time to discern our vocation, or just to grow in our faith. Our daily life includes the Eucharist, Adoration, Scripture, Divine Office and the Rosary. Some of us are families or single people who have chosen to live near Craig Lodge and join in the daily prayer life as work and family commitments allow. Together we look after the guests who come and stay with us.
Come and Stay
We have a full and varied retreat programme of directed retreats covering subjects such as healing, Scripture, theology of the body and the new evangelization. We also welcome anyone who wants to come and stay for a quiet prayerful break. We love having families to stay! Every year we run four Family Weeks with a programme of activities, talks, daily mass and prayer times tailored to suit families.
We also love welcoming young people to Craig Lodge. We run several youth events each year including our popular Easter Triduum and Advent retreats. The Community school mission team is available to visit secondary schools offering prayer, drama, testimonies and talks – all aimed at building up the faith of young people.
