crozier, ring and pectoral cross of our new Bishop were blessed in
preparation for tomorrow's Ordination.

At 12 noon in Rome today, 16 October (11am GMT) Pope Benedict XVI announced that he has appointed Monsignor Joseph Toal as the new Bishop of the Diocese of Argyll and The Isles.
