St. Columba's Cathedral stands on the edge of Oban Bay,
looking west across the Firth of Lorne to Iona and the Hebridean isles,
and across the Atlantic to North America and Canada.
Its austere beauty echoes the ancient faith
of the Catholic tradition of the Celtic people of Scotland.
Throughout the year people at home and abroad request
that the Cathedral be floodlit to mark important moments of life and death.
In memory of our Dad, Joseph McGrath, on his 35th anniversary
from his children and grandchildren
Congratulations to Raymond and Amanda Hope on their wedding anniversary.
With love, Mum, Paul and Clare
In loving memory of Mary MacDougall
with love from Danny and all the family
Please pray for my friend Fr Jean-Pierre along with his brother priests Fr Edmund and Fr Anselme who were kidnapped from their parish in the D R Congo on 19 October 2012 and whose whereabouts are still unknown.
