SCIAF ambassador for Argyll and the Isles Marian Pallister received a cheque from teachers and pupils at St Columba's Primary School in Oban. The children raised a magnificent £478.21 in their Wee Boxes during Lent. The cheque was presented on the day before the royal wedding, when the whole school dressed up for the event. Head teacher Sarah Jane McSween said: 'We're very proud of the children.'

Well done to the girls and boys of St. Columba's School. A great effort!
