Safe recruitment is about ensuring that only people suitable to work with children and 'protected adults' (as defined in legislation) become part of the work force.
With the help of the Parish Safeguarding Co-ordinator, the following process must be adhered to for all volunteer appointments as Pastoral Carer (Children) and/or Pastoral Carer (Protected Adults).
