Jubilee Celebration in Taynuilt

The parish church of the Visitation, Taynuilt was filled with parishioners, friends and family for the concelebrated Mass to mark Canon Billy Fraser's forty years of priesthood.
Canon Fraser was joined by Fr. Donald MacKay from Fr. Billy's home parish of Oban and Fr. William Maclean from Lochgilphead.Also concelebrating were Frs. Gordon Brown and George Rogers from the Archdiocese of St. Andrew's & Edinburgh.


Taynuilt Village Hall was the setting for a celebratory buffet meal and ceilidh where Fr. Billy was warmly thanked for his priestly service and presented with a gift and cheque from the Catholic communities of Taynuilt and Oban.
