Over 90% of pupils from Castlebay Community School (primary and secondary) on the Isle of Barra in the Diocese of Argyll & the Isles gave up their lunch hour to receive their ashes on Ash Wednesday.  Pictured with Castlebay Parish Priest Fr Michael Hutson are a few of the pupils plus primary teacher Mrs MacLean, whose class led the singing.
