During my parish visits since my appointment as Bishop of Argyll & the Isles, I have become increasingly aware of the pastoral needs and practical responsibilities  of the diocese. These needs and responsibilities have financial implications  both for the diocese and for  our participation in the life of the Catholic  Church in Scotland.

In order to develop both mission and maintenance in the diocese I am setting up a fund, 'Faith in the Future', and I invite the faithful, across the diocese and beyond, to make contributions towards it. In this way you will be supporting me as Bishop and Teacher of the diocese and helping the diocese to flourish as witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
