Emma MacDougall of Oban represented the West of Scotland at the recent Special Olympics Summer Games in Leicester and won two bronze medals with her horse, Lady.

She competed in the dressage and "handy-pony" events and her success could make her eligible for a place in Team GB at the International Special Olympics in 2011.
Emma, who is a member of Oban and Lorn Riding for the Disabled and an altar server at St. Columba's Cathedral, said: "I enjoyed it a lot and did my best in the events".
