There were joyful celebrations at St. John's, Caol recently when Sr. Thérèse McConway celebrated 50 years as a Josephite Sister.

Sr. Thérèse, a native of New Zealand, came to Scotland eighteen months ago with Sr. Audrey Thompson to research the life of Blessed Mary MacKillop, founder of the Josephite Sisters, and to promote awareness of her.

It is hoped that Blessed Mary, whose family came from Roy Bridge, will be canonised soon.
